Diseñar esta guía fue enfrentarse a un reto poco común: traducir un marco técnico, normativo y científico de alta complejidad en una herramienta clara, usable y accionable para quienes toman decisiones sobre el territorio.
El reto fue ordenar información altamente especializada —compensación ambiental, unidades de biodiversidad, jerarquía de mitigación y restauración de ecosistemas— sin perder rigor ni claridad.
Designing this guide meant taking on an uncommon challenge: translating a highly complex technical, regulatory, and scientific framework into a clear, usable, and actionable tool for those making decisions about the territory.
The challenge was to organize highly specialized information—environmental compensation, biodiversity units, mitigation hierarchy, and ecosystem restoration—without losing rigor or clarity.
Desde el diseño editorial, estructuramos el documento como un sistema de lectura: jerarquías claras, diagramas explicativos y una narrativa visual que acompaña cada etapa del proceso. El objetivo no era solo informar, sino facilitar la toma de decisiones.
El resultado es una guía funcional, sólida y sostenible en el tiempo, donde el diseño actúa como puente entre la técnica, la política pública y la acción en el territorio.
From an editorial design perspective, we structured the document as a reading system: clear hierarchies, explanatory diagrams, and a visual narrative that supports each stage of the process. The goal was not only to inform, but to facilitate decision-making.
The result is a functional, solid, and future-proof guide, where design acts as a bridge between technical knowledge, public policy, and action on the ground.
